Principal and Teacher Leadership in Schools

I worked with Drs. James Sebastian and Elaine M. Allensworth on Chicago Public Schools data for their school leadership project, a joint effort between the Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at University of Missouri and CCSR funded by the Institute of Education Sciences. Our research focuses on how school leadership is associated with student achievement via principals’ influence over a school’s professional community, teacher professional development, school climate, and school-parent community ties.
